Piller UB-V UPS series state of the art technologies are changing how power back up is used in large scale and hyper scale industrial and data centre environments across the world.
In just over 12 months of general availability some 22 projects have been executed using UB-V units with power ratings between 1.2MW and 3.4MW deployed in data centres and other environments.
UB-V solutions are being evaluated or have been commissioned to provide more than 1.3GW of power protection at data centre and other critical facilities in energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and transport across Asia, the US and Europe.
Andrew Dyke, Global MD, Piller, says: “The UB-V UPS appeals equally across the data centre sector and the non-IT sectors in manufacturing, process and other industrial environments. Across all sectors medium voltage versions of the UB-V make up 55% of the total number of projects. This underlines the completely versatile nature of UB-V for all applications »
UB-V can provide many MWs of reliable, power protection on a daily basis, and in turn give customers the confidence that their critical systems will run continuously.
In 2021 and continuing in 2022 Piller UB-V series state of the art technology is catching the imagination of users across the world as they re-evaluate UPS use at scale and realise the benefits of a UPS range that operates at industry leading efficiency levels and that delivers unrivalled advantages.
As green energy technologies develop the UB-V is clean back-up ready. Other breakthroughs include advances in easy and flexible integration with renewable power sources, bi-directional flow of energy back to grid, delivering Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power options and deployment in IP Bus configuration.
