Bimex Energy AG has been appointed the new distributor for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Headquartered in Uetendorf (Thun), with a second facility in Hinwil, Bimex is currently the largest independent provider of emergency power systems and generators in Switzerland. Sixty percent of the company’s shares are held by their 30 employees, and the remaining shares owned by customers, suppliers and other partners.
For Bimex’s CEO, Beat Müller, the new cooperation is a milestone: “Thanks to this new collaboration with Piller, we will be expanding our range of emergency power systems as the demand for UPS systems continues to increase. Digital networking exposes critical consumers to increasing risk. We believe the partnership will be culturally good, in spite of the differences in size of our two companies”.
Dieter Tolsdorf, Sales Manager, Piller: “Our customers require a great deal of planning experience and comprehensive on-site services; this new co-operation will only make us stronger.”
Piller offers a broad product portfolio of UPS solutions tailored for every need, with both static and dynamic UPS systems. These can be combined with battery storage units or kinetic flywheel systems as well as diesel generators, for long-term power failures.
