Piller Power Systems, together with sister companies Bergen Engines and Marelli Motori, have come together to offer reliable independent power for data centres.
The Power of 10 is a modular power plant concept incorporating Bergen Engines’ (formerly Rolls-Royce Bergen Engines) widely used medium-speed gas engine power generation technology, combined with Piller’s renowned power conditioning and management expertise.
Each 10MW module provides conditioned power directly to the server floor. Modules turn on and off as demand fluctuates, offering truly flexible easy- to-maintain reliable power up to 500MW.
No back up generators, UPS or batteries are required and the engines will run with up to 30% hydrogen without major modification. A 100% hydrogen engine is being developed.
