Two Piller Teams Participate in Harzer Hexentrail Charity Event

Successful Participation in Osterode

Osterode am Harz – On 31 August, two teams from Piller took part in the Harzer Hexentrail, a charity walking and running event. The challenge involved teams of four to seven participants covering distances of either 60 or 35 kilometres.

The event is not only a test of endurance but also a fundraising initiative, with every euro of the entry fee going to support various charitable projects. These projects are proposed by the participating teams and selected by a lottery conducted by the event organisers.

Piller was proud to field one team for each route, and both teams performed admirably under perfect weather conditions. A special highlight of the day was when our ‘Sportfreunde Piller’ team won €1,000 in the raffle, which will be donated to the Osterode Youth Workshop.
